The punching and drilling machines can be pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric. They are machines designed to execute holes, cutouts, and voids on flat and non-flat surfaces, according to the client's needs. The dimensions and shapes of the punches can be of various types and can be single or multiple, with scrap control and with or without lubrication of the dies.

Sprue cutting equipment is used on moulding presses to remove sprues from plastic parts, as well as in assembly and inspection lines following the moulding of plastic parts. The dies, blades, or punches are usually made from hard steel (K100) and then hardened for greater resistance and durability.
